Installation Guidelines

At Design by Metamorph, we create wallpapers that transform walls into works of art. To ensure the final outcome looks flawless, proper wall preparation and installation are essential. While we focus on designing and supplying high-quality custom wallpapers, installation must be carried out carefully following the guidelines below.

Note: Design by Metamorph does not provide installation services directly. However, we may be able to share contacts of independent installers in select cities upon request. These installers operate independently and are not affiliated with or employed by Design by Metamorph.

Pre-Installation Checklist

1. Wall Preparation

The wall surface must be properly prepared before installation.

The wall should be finished with putty and sanding to achieve a smooth surface.
Apply an oil-based primer mixed with enamel paint to seal the wall.

Note: Proper wall preparation ensures strong adhesion and prevents the wallpaper from peeling over time.

2. Wall Condition
The wall must be dry, even, and free from seepage, dampness, or cracks.
Wallpaper should not be installed on uneven, damp, or freshly painted walls.

Note: Poor wall conditions may affect the final finish and durability of the wallpaper.

3. Installation Equipment
A ladder should be available for standard wall installations.
For double-height walls or ceiling installations, scaffolding must be arranged by the client.

Note: Proper equipment ensures safe handling and accurate installation.

4. Site Preparation
The installation area must be clean, dry, and free from dust or debris.
Ensure that no other work such as carpentry, painting, or drilling is happening in the room during installation.
Furniture should be moved away from the wall prior to installation, as installers generally do not move furniture.

Note: A clear workspace allows installers to achieve a neat and seamless finish.

5. Rescheduling

If the installation site is not ready on the scheduled day, installers may charge additional fees for rescheduling.
