Design by Metamorph is a design studio built on a simple belief: a wall is never just a wall. It's the backdrop to every conversation, every quiet morning, every room you come home to. We create wallpapers that are conceived as art first - pattern, color, and story woven together - and designed to live in real homes.
Every design begins the same way: not with a trend report, but with an idea worth telling. From there, it's shaped by hand, refined for how it will actually sit in a room, and brought to life as a wallpaper meant to be lived with for years, not one season.

Pooja Khanduja
founder and creative director
Pooja Khanduja, founder and creative director, is an artist and designer whose journey with art spans nearly three decades, across corporate branding, packaging, wedding stationery, and painting.
It was her enduring fascination with pattern,print and home decor, that eventually found a new home on the wall - and what began as a personal exploration became Design by Metamorph, a studio dedicated to transforming everyday spaces through thoughtfully crafted wallpaper, one that blends emotion, aesthetics, and storytelling into every design.

Lovnish Khanduja, co-founder, brings over 35 years of experience as an architect, interior designer, and environmental planner. Where Pooja's eye shapes the art of a pattern, his expertise shapes how it lives in a real space — scale, proportion, light, and how a room is actually used. His background across architecture and environmental planning means every Metamorph design is considered not just as a print, but as part of a space's larger footprint - how it sits within a room, a building, and the environment around it.
Together, they design wallpaper the way it's meant to be designed: as art that understands architecture, and architecture that never forgets it's art.

HOW IT WORKS

2. Customize
Many of our designs can be adjusted in colorway or scale to suit your space. Working with an architect or designer? We collaborate directly with them too.
3. Enter Your Dimensions & Preview
Fill in your wall dimensions in the fields provided on the product page, and we'll send a digital preview to your registered email — so you can see exactly how the design will look before it's printed.
4. Sample It
Order a physical sample before you commit. Screens don't show true color, texture, or scale — a swatch in your own light does.
5. We Print, Made to Order
Once confirmed, your wallpaper is printed to your exact wall dimensions — nothing is mass-produced ahead of time, so every roll is made for your room.
6. Delivered to Your Door
Your finished wallpaper arrives ready for installation, with care instructions included.
7. Install, Your Way
Every roll arrives numbered and marked for placement, so installation is straightforward — a paste-the-wall method any local contractor can handle. Prefer to leave it to a specialist? Pro installation is available in major cities, on a paid basis. Either way, the last step is simple: step back, take it in, and watch your room become the space you always pictured.
